Trial on attack on Nalchik postponed until July 30
The today's session of the Supreme Court of Kabardino-Balkaria on the case of the attack on Nalchik was not held due to the illness of two lawyers; it was rescheduled for tomorrow, July 30.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that the judicial inquiry into the attack on the capital of Kabardino-Balkaria on October 13, 2005, during which 35 law enforcers and militaries, 15 civilians and 95 attackers were killed, came to an end. A break was announced until July 25 to give time to the parties to get ready for the debates; however, the advocates' disease forced the court to postpone the session till today.
Due to the fact that the advocates of the defendants Oleg Kelemetov and Farid Tuganov are sick, the start of the debates was again postponed.
Earlier, the sessions on June 20 and June 24 were cancelled for the same reason.
Let us remind you that the trial goes on since 2009; there are 57 defendants in the case; most of them reject their guilt.
