Evkurov: information of "Mashr" is negatively affecting the youth
The authorities are putting pressure on the human rights organization "Mashr", because it releases information about murders and kidnappings in Ingushetia, said the head of the organization Magomed Mutsolgov. The administrative staff of the head of the republic was instructed to address the Prosecutor's Office and power bodies and ask to initiate a revision of Mutsolgov's statements. The "Caucasian Knot" correspondent was informed about it by the acting head of Ingushetia Yunus-Bek Evkurov, who added that the information disseminated by the "Mashr" was causing aggression among young people.
Let us remind you that Magomed Mutsolgov sent an open letter to the President of Russia asking him to protect the "Mashr" from "persecution by regional authorities."
The letter says, in particular, that during his visit to the camp of internally displaced persons in Karabulak Yunus-Bek Evkurov ordered to "open a criminal case on the fact of the spread" of the annual report of the "Mashr". Mutsolgov confirms his statement by referring to the audio report circulated by regional news websites.
The report in question is a regular report on the activities of the "Mashr" over the past year. It presents a list of those killed and kidnapped, accompanied by their photos and statements of their relatives.
In his open letter to Vladimir Putin, Mutsolgov also mentioned an episode connected with the allegations against the human rights organization "Mashr" of receiving money from foreign countries.
