Police release most salesmen detained at "Matveevsky" Marketplace
Almost all salesmen, who were detained during the special operation carried out at the "Matveevsky" Marketplace in Moscow, were released from the police station. This was reported by Andrei Remennik, Director of the "Matveevsky" Marketplace.
Let us remind you that after an attack on a policeman that occurred at the "Matveevsky" Marketplace on July 27, the police carry out measure to decriminalize markets. During two days of the operation carried out in the markets of Moscow, more than 100 persons were detained. This was reported by the press service of the Moscow police.
According to the statement of Andrei Remennik, 80% of the detained salesmen are Russian citizens, and law enforcers have no claims against them, the "RBC" reports.
Today, the information about closure of the "Matveevsky" Marketplace was refuted by Alexei Alexandrov, Prefect of the Western Administrative District of Moscow. According to his information, the market, where the policeman was attacked, will not be closed, and it will be only reconstructed, the "Radio Mayak" reports.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on July 27, at the "Matveevsky" Marketplace, policemen tried to detain Magomed Magomedov, a native of Dagestan, suspected of rape of a schoolgirl. During his detention, his relatives Magomed Rasulov and Khalimat Rasulova attacked a policeman and inflicted a serious injury to him. This was stated by the law enforcement bodies.
The court pronounced the decision to arrest them till September 27. Magomed Rasulov and his wife Khalimat pleaded not guilty.
