MIA: nine persons fell victims to explosion at grocery shop in Makhachkala
According to the specified information, seven persons got minor cut injuries in the explosion in a shop located in the centre of Makhachkala. The number of victims has reached nine persons, including two persons who got contused at the moment of the explosion. This was told to the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent by Fatina Ubaidatova, Spokesperson of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) of Dagestan.
On August 4, inMakhachkala, the explosion took place in the grocery store, located at the intersection of Yaragsky and Kotrov Streets. Two persons were injured - a security guard and a saleswoman.
According to the specified information, several people who passed by the grocery store, were injured by shivers of glass, the source said. In total, medical care was provided to nine persons. "No one got serious injuries," the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent was told by a representative of the Dagestani MIA.
In the evening of August 4, inMakhachkala, unidentified persons tried to blow up another shop named "Kristall" (Crystal), specializing in sale of alcoholic beverages. A detonator of the improvised explosive device (IED) exploded in the place. The IED itself did not explode, no one was injured.
