Dagestani resident asks Ramazan Abdulatipov to take control of investigation into her husband's murder
Saida Khaibulaeva, a resident of the village of Karlanyurt of the Khasavyurt District of Dagestan, appealed to Ramazan Abdulatipov, Acting President of Dagestan, with a request to take control of the criminal investigation into the murder of her husband Radjab Magomedov.
Let us remind you that the incident occurred on March 27, 2007 in the village of Karlanyurt. During a quarrel that escalated into a fight, Saipula Shamkhalov, a resident of Kizilyurt, stabbed Radjab Magomedov with a knife and inflicted a wound to his thigh with damage to the artery. Radjab Magomedov died from loss of blood.
On August 5, Saida Khaibulaeva sent an appeal to Ramazan Abdulatipov with a request to prosecute the investigator who, according to the version of Saida Khaibulaeva, had committed violations in the investigation into the case.
"My husband Radjab Nazirbegovich Magomedov was killed in 2007. And the killers are still out of prison," the woman writes in her appeal. She believes there is a fault of the investigating authorities.
The appeal states that the investigator left Saipula Shamkhalov under the recognizance not to leave, and a policeman from the ROVD (District Interior Division) let the defendant to escape by attaching the forged protocols of investigating actions and a certificate of illness to the materials of the case.
The Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Dagestan found constituent elements of a crime in the materials of the case. However, the widow of Radjab Magomedov emphasizes, even after the appeal of the Prosecutor's Office, the investigating department refused to initiate criminal proceedings against the investigator.
