Two persons are under intensive care after road accident that killed Senator from KBR

Two residents of Chechnya, who suffered today in the road accident that killed Albert Kazharov, the Senator (member of the Russian Council of the Republic) from the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic (KBR) and his driver, are in the intensive care unit, said a source from the reception ward of the Nalchik hospital.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that the accident occurred on the Federal Highway "Kavkaz" in Kabardino-Balkaria. According to preliminary data of law enforcement bodies, the car with Albert Kazharov, drove into the oncoming lane. The Senator and his driver Khasanbi Zhukov died instantly from their multiple injuries, said Azret Mechukaev, the deputy head of the bureau of forensic examination of the KBR.

The Lada Priora car, with which the Kazharov's car collided, was carrying three residents of Chechnya: Gisa Magomadov and Albeck Barsanukaev, both born in 1991, and Islam Zhantimirov, born in 1995.

After the accident, all the three were taken to the Republic's Clinical Hospital (RCH) of Nalchik; however, Islam Zhantimirov needed no medical help, an RCH doctor told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.
