The first open court session on the criminal case of the Rostov journalist and publisher Alexander Tolmachov, who is accused of extortion, is scheduled for August 21 at the Lenin District Court of Rostov-on-Don. The session will be chaired by a judge from the Kuschevskiy District Court of the Krasnodar Territory.

The preliminary hearing on the case was held on August 12, at the Kuschevskiy District Court of the Krasnodar Territory behind closed doors.

Let us remind you that Alexander Tolmachov was registered as a candidate for deputy of the Legislative Assembly of the Rostov Region. On August 11, a 40-strong picket in his support was held in Rostov-on-Don.
