In Adygea, 78 illegal migrants detained
During one day of August 17, in the course of raids in the Takhtamukai District of Adygea, policemen detained 78 illegal immigrants. This was reported by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Adygea.
Staff members of the Russian MIA for the Takhtamukai District, the FSB Department, and the Department of the Federal Migration Service (FMS) of Russia for Adygea with the support of the MIA's OMON (riot police) carried out inspections of observance of immigration laws in the territory of the Takhtamukai District. During the raid, several places were checked, where, according to the information of law enforcement bodies, illegal migrant labour could be used.
"As a result of the continuous checking, 78 illegal immigrants were brought to the police station. Most of them came from China and Central Asia," reports the website of the MIA for Adygea.
Policemen register the detainees, take their photographs and fingerprint them. For each detainee, a check will be carried out and a procedural decision will be made.
