Novocherkassk: bosses of ambulance station promise to consider drivers' claims
The First Aid Hospital (FAH) of the city of Novocherkassk, Rostov Region, where last week 51 ambulance drivers applied for resignation, continues operating normally, said a source from the FAH: at the meeting of the staff it was agreed that the bosses of the facility would consider drivers' claims.
Let us remind you that on August 16, 51 out of the 64 ambulance drivers of the FAH submitted their resignation applications. The immediate reason was the closure of one of the garages and unacceptable working conditions. The drivers also complained of low wages.
As reported by Leonid Vinogradov, the head of the ambulance department of the FAH, on August 19 a meeting of the staff was held at the hospital.
According to his story, it was agreed that hospital bosses would consider drivers' claims and give the answer in two weeks.
The source has also noted that the Minister of Public Health of the Rostov Region had appointed a comprehensive check with the assistance of competent services, including municipal ones, which will be followed by a respective decision.
