In USA, Prosecutor's Office promises to check actions of FBI agents at shooting dead Ibragim Todashev, his father reports

In USA, the Prosecutor's Office investigates the incident, in the course of which FBI agents killed Ibragim Todashev, a native of Chechnya, for possible abuse of power. This was reported by Abdulbaki Todashev, the father of Ibragim Todashev, after the meeting with Jeff Ashton, Florida State Attorney.

On May 22, 26-year-old Ibragim Todashev was shot dead by an FBI agent during the questioning in connection with the terror act committed in Boston on April 15 and the triple murder committed in Waltham in 2011.

On August 8, Jeff Ashton stated that he had received the report of the US Department of Justice about the circumstances of the Ibragim Todashev's death and began to study it.

On August 20, Jeff Ashton met Abdulbaki Todashev, who demanded to carry out the investigation into the death of his son and who arrived in USA on August 4 with the intention to file a complaint to court against the FBI agents.

"I was pleased with the meeting... I liked that the Attorney said that they would check the abuse of power (allegedly committed by FBI agents)," Abdulbaki Todashev has stated.

According to his story, the Attorney did not inform him of the deadline for the investigation. He has just said that the deadline for the investigation was specified and that he could not state exactly when the investigation would be completed.
