In Dagestan, project "52/52", called to tell Dagestanis about their homeland, started with trip to Kubachi village
On August 18, a group of twenty Dagestani journalists and bloggers made the first trip within the framework of the project "52/52", designed to tell Dagestanis about their republic. Participants of the first blogger tour visited the famous village of Kubachi of the Dakhadaevsky District of Dagestan.
The project "52/52" has been designed and is being implemented by the Dagestani Ministry of Press and Information.
"The similar blogger tours were organized earlier for guests from central Russia. However, Dagestani residents also have too little knowledge of Dagestan. Under the project, the Ministry of Press and Information provides transportation, municipal authorities meet guests and organize a tour around the district, and project participants should make maximum efforts to tell about the trip and the village that they visited," the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent was told by Timur Gusaev, a public advisor of the project.
The public advisor has explained that the title of the project is simple: to visit 52 districts of Dagestan for 52 weeks of year. In the social network "Facebook", a special group of "52/52. Dagestan by Eyes of Dagestani Residents" has been created, where the dates and travel routes are announced and where participants exchange their experiences and share photos.
