In Dagestan, "Relay of Peace and Brotherhood" brings together representatives of all religions
Dagestan hosts the Caucasian youth forum "Relay of Peace and Brotherhood". The event organized by the Spiritual Administration of Muslims (SAM) of North Ossetia and the Dagestani Institute of Theology brought together representatives of all religions without exception. This was told to the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent by Khadjimurat Gatsalov, Co-Chairman of the Council of Muftis of Russia and the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of North Ossetia.
On August 20, within the forum "Relay of Peace and Brotherhood", guests from the North-Caucasian republics arrived in Makhachkala. The mission of the forum is to unite Caucasian youth on the grounds of common historical, cultural and religious values and to promote interethnic and inter-religious respect for people living in the North-Caucasian region, and for Caucasians living in other regions of Russia. This was announced by the organizers of the event.
"The today's stage of the Relay is the sixth one in a row," the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent was told by Khadjimurat Gatsalov.
Earlier, according to the Mufti's information, similar forums were held in Dagestan, Chechen Republic, Karachay-Cherkessia, and North Ossetia.
