Court refuses to let Alexander Tolmachov to meet voters
Victoria Ananich, Judge of the Kuschevskaya District Court of the Krasnodar Territory, dismissed the motion filed by an advocate of Rostov journalist Alexander Tolmachov to let the defendant to meet voters within the campaign for the elections of deputies of the Legislative Assembly of the Rostov Region.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that in December 2011, Alexander Tolmachov was taken in custody by the decision of the Novocherkassk City Court. On August 26, 2013, the court hearings on the case were started.
Meanwhile, on August 13, it was reported that Alexander Tolmachov was registered as a candidate for deputy of the Legislative Assembly of the Rostov Region.
Civil activist Maria Polianichko, who attended the today's court hearings on the case against Alexander Tolmachov, told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent that the court considered only the motion filed by Alexander Tolmachov.
Then, according to the information of Maria Polianichko, the court hearings were postponed till August 29, since Sergey Emelyanov, the advocate of Alexander Tolmachov, was to attend the court hearings on another case.
