In Dagestan, about 300 visitors to exhibition of Muslim relics seek medical assistance
In Dagestan, during the work of the exhibition of Muslim relics, about 300 persons sought medical assistance, and one of them was brought to hospital. This was reported by a source at the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) for Dagestan.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that the exhibition was officially opened on August 27; however, more than 5000 persons have already visited it on the eve.
The problems with visitors' health were caused by long lines, in which people stand for 8-9 hours, and by hot weather. The "Caucasian Knot" correspondent was told about it by a source from the Dagestani MIA. He has added that conflicts sometimes burst out among visitors; however, no fights occurred.
The relics delivered to Dagestan are related to Prophet Muhammad; they are permanently stored in Abu Dhabi, the UAE capital, at place of Sheikh Ahmad bin Muhammad Al-Khazraj. According to the information of the Spiritual Administration of Muslims (SAM) of Dagestan, it is expected that the exhibition will be visited by about three million people.
