During the week of August 19-25, 18 persons suffered in the armed conflict in Northern Caucasus
In the course of the armed conflict in Northern Caucasus, in the period from August 19 to August 25, 2013, at least 18 fell victim; of them, 11 persons were lost, and seven more were wounded. These are the outcomes of the calculations made by the "Caucasian Knot" based on its own materials and information from other open sources.
The death toll includes one law enforcer and ten suspected members of the armed underground – all of them in Dagestan.
Let us note here that the above figures cannot reflect the total count of victims with absolute precision: not all the data gets into news reports; and it is not always possible to verify the statements made by law enforcement bodies.
