Chechen MIA: Arthur Dolsaev reveals all persons involved in assassination of Ingush Security Council Secretary
All persons involved in the assassination of Akhmed Kotiev, Secretary of Security Council of Ingushetia, are revealed due to the testimony of Arthur Dolsaev, who was detained in Grozny and whom investigators believe to be one of the perpetrators of the assassination. This was reported by a source in the Chechen Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA).
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on August 27, Akhmed Kotiev was killed in the Malgobek District of Ingushetia on his way to work. In the shelling of the Akhmed Kotiev's car, his driver was also killed. On September 3, the Chechen MIA reported on the detention of Arthur Dolsaev, a resident of Ingushetia, suspected of involvement in the crime.
During his interrogation, Arthur Dolsaev has acknowledged his involvement in the assassination of Akhmed Kotiev and also reported the names of "all members of the criminal gang and described other details of the attack." This was told by a representative of the Chechen MIA in his interview to the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.
"Besides, Arthur Dolsaev has stated that the criminal gang involved in the assassination of Akhmed Kotiev acts in the territory of Ingushetia. He has also stated that it is led by Arthur Getagazhev, the leader of the criminal gang, who was put on the federal wanted list. In his turn, he is a subordinate of Dokku Umarov, the leader of the armed underground," the Chechen police officer has stated.
