Relatives of Kuraev who was killed in Makhachkala claim contradictions in power agents' data
Relatives of Saadula Kuraev, who was shot dead in a shootout in Makhachkala claim that the facts about the shooting released by power agents have contradictions. This was reported by Aisha Selimkhanova, an activist of the Dagestani regional public organization (DRPA) "Pravozaschita" (Advocacy).
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on July 23 on the Ubekin Highway two persons were killed in a shootout; and three policemen were wounded. The incident occurred, when the policemen tried to stop a car for a check. The casualties were members of the "Caspian" grouping, said the Russian National Antiterrorist Committee (NAC).
A source from the "Pravozaschita" told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent that on August 29 Gazikhma Abuev, a resident of the village of Dylym, Kazbek District, who is Saadula's uncle, addressed the DRPO. He believes that the murder case of his nephew has many inconsistencies.
A source from the investigating bodies of Dagestan told that those two who were in the car, except for the taxi driver, refused to surrender to the policemen and opened fire.
Earlier, the inconsistencies in the data released by law enforcers were stated by relatives of Kochubek Kochubekov, who was killed together with Kuraev. They said that on July 23 Kochubek called his wife at 7:30 p.m., while the police announced that the shooting occurred at 4:40 p.m.
