The Coordination Commission is the supreme controlling body of the IOC in charge of keeping track of the entire preparation cycle of the Organizing Committee "Sochi-2014" for the Olympics.
Let us remind you that the budget of the first Russia's Winter Olympics has exceeded 1.5 trillion roubles, which sparked a wave of criticism among local residents and in the blogosphere. Ecologists, social activists and many residents of the city-resort have repeatedly spoken against the mass construction of Olympic facilities in Sochi.
