In Armenia, public initiative "Pre-Parliament" reports about beating its supporters
Two supporters of the public initiative "Pre-Parliament" were seriously injured as a result of the beating. This was reported at the statement of the organization.
According to the statement, in the evening of September 26, in the yard of their house, Suren Gevorkyan and Saak Pogosyan, members of the organization "Pre-Parliament", were attacked by a "yard hooligan", who inflicted serious injuries to them.
"Suren Gevorkyan was hospitalized and diagnosed with hematoma and cerebral haemorrhage. At present, Suren Gevorkyan is at the resuscitation ward under the supervision of physicians. According to the opinion of an attending physician, if within 72 hours his condition does not improve, a surgical intervention will be required," the document states.
According to the organization's information, its supporters were beaten by a supporter of the ruling regime.
"The 'Pre-Parliament' and his supporters will not give up and will reach their goal. With the participation of the people, they will get free from the criminal system and criminal elements acting under it and create a decent state," said the statement of the public initiative.
The police of the Arabkir community of Yerevan instituted a criminal case on the fact of beating, the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent reports.
