Dagestan presents 120 projects and proposals at Investment Forum in Sochi
Two registries of investment projects and proposals have been presented by Dagestan at the ongoing Investment Forum "Sochi-2013". As reported by the spokesman of the Ministry of Trade and Foreign Economic Relations of Dagestan, out of the presented projects, 33 have a priority status.
Let us remind you that in the evening on September 26 Sochi opened its 12th International Investment Forum "Sochi-2013". The event is attended by over 9000 people – more than at any of the previous ones.
The first Dagestani registry includes 44 projects to the total investments of 190.407 billion roubles; of them, 33 projects have a priority status.
The second registry has 76 investment proposals that need a total of 155.894 billion roubles, the above ministry spokesman told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.
On September 28, an agreement was signed by the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Dagestan on cooperation in the sphere of foreign trade. Besides, the Dagestani government signed an agreement with the OJSC "Russian Bank for Support of Small and Medium Enterprises".
The major projects presented in Sochi by Dagestan refer to the agro-industrial complex, including the "AgroDagItaliya" Agro-Techno-Park on the basis of Italian agrarian modules in the Babayurt District. The investment amounts to 200 million euros. It is planned that, once implemented, the enterprise will give jobs to some 16,000 people.
