In Volgograd, communists extended the work of public reception office by a month

In Volgograd, the work of the public reception office, organized by members of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation (CPRF) in the mini-park opposite the regional government, will be extended by a month, that is, until the end of October, Nikolai Parshin, the first secretary of the Stalingrad Regional Committee of the CPRF, said today at a press conference.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on September 10, members of the above regional committee launched an endless protest demanding to cancel the results of the elections to the City Duma. The communists have opened their day-and-night public reception office, held by the MPs of the communist faction of the Regional Duma.

Today, Mr Parshin has summed up the 20 days of the CPRF's reception office. He noted that to date, communists have collected 11,000 signatures against falsification of the election totals. The communist leader said that the work of the office set up in the mini-park will last for another month, until the end of October.

The Communists have also stated that they will "reformat" the task – signatures will be collected throughout the Volgograd Region for resignation of the governor.
