Sochi: ICRF checks application of abuse of power at Khosta ROVD
The Investigating Division for the Khosta District of Sochi of the Investigating Committee of the Russian Federation (ICRF) is checking the application lodged by Olga Sofronova, a local resident, about fabrication of a case on administrative offence against her by ROVD employees. This was reported by Olga Sofronova herself and her advocate.
Let us remind you that Olga Sofronova, a resident of Sochi, has stated that on August 30 policemen of the Khosta ROVD fabricated an administrative case against her. She views her treatment as an act of torture. According to Olga, she was detained for almost 24 hours by the Khosta ROVD, where she spent a night without bedding, food, drink and a possibility to use the toilet.
"Everything that happened on August 30 before my eyes was reported by me to assistant investigator Evgeny Malaschenko," Igor Kurochkin, a lawyer of the Azov-Black Sea Bar, told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.
When asked to comment on the course of the check, the above Malaschenko said that his bosses would make the decision.
