Dagestani SC forms jury in murder case of Deputy and his relatives in Kizlyar
The Supreme Court (SC) of Dagestan has formed a jury, which will consider the murder case of Magomed Gamzatov, a Deputy of the Kizlyar City Assembly, and his relatives, said a source from the Court.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that Magomed Gamzatov, his brothers Osman, Yusup and Gazidibir, and his nephew Magomed Omarov were killed in a fight with use of firearms that burst out in Kizlyar on March 18, 2012. On March 19 and 21, casualties' relatives blocked the federal highway Rostov-Baku, demanding resignation of the head of the Kizlyar District Andrei Vinogradov, whose guards, according to relatives, were participants of the above armed incident.
Six persons are accused in the case.
The "Caucasian Knot" correspondent was informed by a source from the Dagestani SC that 12 main jurors and four reserve ones were chosen out of 40 candidates. The consideration on the merits will start on October 31.
