Refugees' children from Ingushetia and Chechnya return home from America
Children from families of refugees from Ingushetia and Chechnya affected by interethnic conflicts have returned home after a three-month stay in America. This was reported by Alikhan Akhilgov, one of the organizers of the trip, the leader of NGO "Foundation to Help Formerly Deported Peoples".
Let us remind you that on July 21, five children from families of refugees from Ingushetia and Chechnya went to the United States. On October 6, children returned to Russia.
The "Caucasian Knot" correspondent was told by Tanzila Alkhaeva, she lived with the family of Americans, where the hostess was Madina, an Ingush woman, who married to an American. According to the girl's story, every day after lessons, the children attended classes in the clubs and excursions. "I liked America very much. Friendly people live there. Everyone tried to help us when we went to the store and in the early days could not say in English what we wanted to buy," the girl said.
According to the Alikhan Akhilgov's information, it has been preliminary agreed that in the next year, one more group of children, orphans or half-orphans from families affected by interethnic conflicts will go to the United States. "If nothing changes, then in the spring, staff members from NGO 'International Institute of Life' will come from the United States to meet candidates for the next trip," Alikhan Akhilgov has described the plans for further cooperation with American colleagues.
