In Sochi, court marshals demolish two apartment blocks
In the garden non-profit partnership "Poselkovoe", located in the Tsentralny District of Sochi, court marshals are demolishing two multi-storey apartment blocks, following the decision of the court, which has satisfied the claim of the city administration on demolition of unauthorized constructions. About 50 people, pensioners, disabled people and children among them, are deprived of their only housing, say the tenants.
On November 12 and 20, 2012, the court, chaired by Judge N. Shevelev, considered and satisfied two lawsuits lodged by the city administration claiming to recognize the houses located on land plots Nos. 9 and 15 as unauthorized constructions.
The court has ruled a complete demolition of the two comfortable houses at the account of the tenants.
The foreman in charge of the demolition of the house build in plot No. 9 said that the Krasnodar-based Company "Astra-South" had won the tender for the state order of dismantling the house, located in plot No. 9 in "Poselkovoe". The demolition should be completed in 10 days.
The owners have all the legal documents for the houses and land plots, but they are just thrown out into the street, the lawyer Marina Bystritskaya has commented on the developments. She also noted that the tenants, who will have to pay for the demolition of their houses, have the right to know who and how it doing the job, and whether this job is duly paid under the state contract.
At present, the demolition of the two houses in "Poselkovoe" continues.
