MIA source: Zeinalov pleads guilty of killing Yegor Scherbakov

Orkhan Zeinalov, a native of Azerbaijan, who was detained today on suspicion of killing Yegor Scherbakov, has pled guilty in his informal talks with the police, said a source from the Moscow City Police.

Orkhan Zeinalov was detained today in the town of Kolomna as a suspect of committing a resonant murder of Scherbakov on October 10. The suspect was taken to the Chief Interior Department (GUVD) for Moscow of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA).

Despite the fact that Zeinalov rendered resistance at detention, no one was hurt. Later, in his conversations with operative agents, the native of Azerbaijan pled guilty, the RIA "Novosti" reports with reference to its source from the GUVD.

So far, there are no comments made by Orkhan Zeinalov or his advocate with respect to the above information.

The Muscovite, who had rented housing to Zeinalov, will receive a million roubles as a reward for helping the police in catching the suspect, the "Interfax" reports with reference to the press service of the GUVD.

The murder of Yegor Scherbakov kindled mass riots in Moscow on October 13, which resulted in detention of more than 380 persons.
