MIA official: about 200 persons detained for rioting near "Prazhskaya" metro station in Moscow
In Moscow, near the "Prazhskaya" metro station, about 200 participants of the action organized by nationalists violated public order and were brought to the police station. This was reported on October 15 by an official from the Chief Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) for Moscow.
Organizers of the rally "Our Response to Eid al-Adha" planned to meet at the "Prazhskaya" metro station to march from there to Biryulyovo, where on October 10, a resonant murder of Yegor Scherbakov was committed, presumably, by a native of Azerbaijan.
The police began detaining the participants of the protest action for their aggressive behaviour. This was reported by the Chief Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) for Moscow.
According to the information of Georgy Smoleevsky, Prefect of the South-Western Administrative Region of Moscow, citizens detained by the police do not reside in the districts of the South-Western Administrative Region of Moscow.
"They are young people whose brains are fooled by someone. I just witnessed how policemen detained a young man and found a knife with length of 50 centimetres with him. Why he came here, he does not know. He seems to be a minor," the "Rossiyskaya Gazeta" quotes Georgy Smoleevsky as saying.
