Builder of Olympic Media Centre stitched up his mouth, demanding salary

Roman Kuznetsov, a resident of the Orenburg Region, has stitched up his mouth and went out into Sochi streets with a poster: "Give me my salary!" The builder of the Olympic Media Centre has undertaken the desperate action, because he had not received his salary for several months. This was reported by the Sochi lawyer Alexander Popkov.

Mr Popkov has added that the builders were engaged in laying ventilation chutes and insulating the buildings; they were not paid for their work for several months.

"Today, Roman Kuznetsov, who arrived in Sochi from Orenburg, has stitched up his mouth, made a poster: 'Give me my salary!' and stood with it at the checkpoint of the Media Centre. People are not only left without salary for several months, but they are kicked out of housing," the edition named "Yugopolis" quotes the lawyer Popkov as saying.

The policemen who drove up to the place of the solo picket took the builder away, saying that he needed medical care. "Roman Kuznetsov is in hospital, his condition is satisfactory," the portal "Sochi News" has quoted Alexander Popkov.
