Explosion near mosque in Dugulubgei is the sixth armed incident related to the village within 8 months

Today, in the yard of the mosque in the village of Dugulubgei, an explosion occurred. As a result, two persons were killed. According to the preliminary information of the law enforcement agencies, the victims were carrying a bomb and were going to commit a terror act.

According to the updated information of the investigators, the explosion occurred at the cemetery. The law enforcers found with the men killed in the explosion a large amount of ammunition and grenades, a submachine gun and two pistols. This was reported by the website of the Investigating Committee.

Starting from May 2013, the situation in the village of Dugulubgei of Kabardino-Balkaria gets deteriorated. The explosion near the mosque became the 8th armed incident involving the village. The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that for the recent six months, the law enforcement agencies conducted there two special operations. Two law enforcers were killed. Other three residents of the village were killed in different parts of the republic.
