Court arrests two participants of riots in Biryulyovo

The Tver Court of Moscow has ruled to arrest two persons, who took part in the riots that burst out after the murder of Yegor Scherbakov, a resident of the Western Biryulyovo – a township of Moscow. According to the police, the arrested persons were actively involved in the riots. Let us remind you that a native of Azerbaijan had been detained on suspicion of committing the above murder.

On October 13, the murder of Yegor Scherbakov caused protests that grew into riots, as a result of which 380 people were detained.

Today, the above Court has arrested till December 13 the third figurant of the criminal case initiated on hooliganism in Biryulyovo – Andrei Titarenko, 18, a native of Ukraine and a student of Construction College No. 30 inMoscow. This was reported by the RAPSI.

The Moscow police has also detained the fourth suspect within the above case, initiated after the riots in the Shopping Centre "Biryuza" in Biryulyovo, said the press service of the Chief Department for Moscow of the Russia's Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA).

"The detainee took the most active part in acts of hooliganism," the RIA "Novosti" quotes its police source.
