36 journalists take part in Media Forum "At Foot of Mount Ararat"

The Media Forum ''At Foot of Mount Ararat", held in Yerevan on October 17-20, has brought together 36 journalists from Spain, Germany, France, Russia, Ukraine, Belarus and Moldova.

The plan of the forum, organized by the Armenia's Ministry of Culture and the Media Congress of Journalists of Europe and Asia, assumes trips to the Shirak, Tavush and Vayotsdzor Regions of Armenia, and to Nagorno-Karabakh.

The forum participants have chances to produce video and photo reports, and take part in master classes organized for journalism students of a number of Armenian universities, a source from the Ministry of Culture told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.

The main topics of the roundtable held within the forum were ''Role of Media in Today's World'' and ''Prospects for Armenia after Accession to Customs Union".'

The forum also saw a presentation of the books by the Russian writer Andrei Konstantinov ''The Half-Blood'' and ''If Anyone Hears Me'', and watched the film based on the novel by Yuri Polyakov ''Heaven of the' Fallen".
