In Novocherkassk, 70 persons attend rally in support of Vladislav Zhuravlyov
About 70 persons attended a rally in support of Vladislav Zhuravlyov, ex-Deputy Mayor of Novocherkassk, who was conditionally sentenced for intolerant remarks about natives of Northern Caucasus.
Let us remind you that the rally in support of Vladislav Zhuravlyov was initiated by members of the Novocherkassk organization "People's Action Committee".
"People who come to support unlawfully sentenced Vladislav Zhuravlyov were addressed by Anatoly Kondratenko, ex-Mayor of Novocherkassk. The people shouted slogans and spoke against the unlawful prosecution of Vladislav Zhuravlyov and judicial tyranny in general," the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent was told by Elena Benko, one of the participants of the rally in Novocherkassk.
According to Irina Kislitsyna, Press Secretary of the Rostov Regional Committee of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation (CPRF), Rostov-on-Don also hosted a rally "against the prosecution of activists of popular protest" attended by about 100 persons. People came out with posters and banners to support Vladislav Zhuravlyov and Vladimir Bessonov, the deputy of the Russian State Duma from the CPRF. Rostov political leaders of the CPRF delivered their speeches from the tribune and claimed "lawlessness in the area of justice."
