Nino Burjanadze fears presidential election in Georgia can be falsified
Within the election campaign of October 17-20, Nino Burjanadze, a Georgian presidential candidate from the "Democratic Movement-United Georgia" Party, held meetings with residents of Adzharia for the second time. Besides, she met residents of the towns of Zugdidi and Marneuli and the village of Khaishi. Everywhere, she touched the problems of people living in those towns and village and promised to solve them. Besides, Nino Burjanadze again touched the theme of relations between Russia and Georgia and urged her rivals to hold debates.
Let us remind you that the voting on the election of the President of Georgia will be held on October 27. 23 candidates will run for presidency.
In Zugdidi, Nino Burjanadze has declared that the country needs a knowledgeable and experienced person as president who will put a country in poverty in the right way.
On October 19, at the meeting with residents of the village of Khaishi, the presidential candidate spoke of the problems of residents. Nino Burjanadze has mentioned the threat of forced relocation.
The presidential candidate has emphasized that Georgia does not refuse building electric power plants and creating jobs; however, she has noted that flooding of vast territories, churches, cemeteries, and villages "is undoubtedly not a blessing for us."
