In Krasnodar, case against Mikhail Savva to be considered on November 5

On November 5, the Pervomaisky Court of Krasnodar is to consideration on the merits the case against Professor Mikhail Savva. Mikhail Savva has called all people who support him to come on that day to court.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on April 12, Mikhail Savva was detained in Krasnodar. He was charged of fraud for embezzlement of budget funds allocated by the administration of the Krasnodar Territory in the form of a grant and of receiving payment for a fictitious course of lecture at the university. Mikhail Savva pleads not guilty.

"The first court session in the Pervomaisky Court of Krasnodar is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. of November 5. I invite people, who value freedom, to take part in that trial," states the appeal of Mikhail Savva published on the website, created by his supporters.

"Unfortunately, there is no independent justice in Russia, so everything will depend on the activity of the public campaign," Mikhail Savva has emphasized.

The Mikhail Savva's appeal has been obtained through members of the Public Monitoring Commission, who recorded the text of the appeal at the SIZO (pre-trial prison). This was reported by a support group of Mikhail Savva in the social network "VKontakte".
