Murat Tishkov killed by explosion in mosque yard was buried in Dugulubgey
On October 25, Murat Tishkov, who was killed by the explosion triggered in the yard of the mosque located in the village of Dugulubgey, was buried into the old Muslim cemetery, where no burials were held for 35 years, said his mother Elena Tishkova.
Let us remind you that on October 18, in the yard of the rural mosque, located in the Baksan District of the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic (KBR), an unidentified device went off; later, human remains were found in the venue of the blast. According to the Russian National Antiterrorist Committee (NAC), the two casualties – Murat Tishkov and Murat Abazov – had planned to commit a terror act on the route of the funeral procession. Fellow villagers forbade burying Murat Tishkov in his native village, claimed his mother.
She added that it was the head of the village administration who allowed burying Tishkov into the old cemetery, where nobody had been buried for 35 years. According to her story, the issue of Murat's funeral has made the situation in Dugulubgey red-hot to the limit.
Murat Tishkov's mother states that the situation in the republic with burial of remains should be corrected, otherwise "it will become commonplace not to bury children, like Murat, into cemeteries."
Residents of the village of Dugulubgey have sent an open letter to the Spiritual Administration of Muslims (SAM) of the KBR and to Valery Khatazhukov, the head of the local Human Rights Centre (HRC), demanding "to ban burying bandits into the cemeteries common with law-abiding citizens."
