During CTO in Agachaul, three persons detained by law enforcers, local residents report
In the village of Agachaul, where this morning a regime of counterterrorist operation (CTO) has been introduced, three persons were detained after the searches. This was reported by Aisha Selimkhanova, a member of the Dagestani public organization "Pravozaschita" (Advocacy), who learned the information from detainees' relatives.
According to a local resident, who preferred to remain anonymous, in the early morning, in the village, law enforcers installed fences at the entrance and exit of the village.
"It is almost impossible to enter or exit the village. Law enforcers do not tell us how long this situation will last," the local resident told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.
Aisha Selimkhanova emphasizes that the residents of the village were not properly notified of the fact of introduction of the special regime.
"There are reports that after three searches, where, according to relatives, weapons and ammunition had been planted, three persons were detained," Aisha Selimkhanova told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.
