Nino Burjanadze accepts the outcome of presidential election in Georgia

Nino Burjanadze, the Georgian presidential candidate, has accepted the outcome of the election. Meanwhile, she has claimed the election failed to comply with "the models of democracy."

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that earlier, Irakli Batiashvili, the head of the electoral headquarters of Nino Burjanadze, stated that the outcome of the election was falsified. Nino Burjanadze was the leader in the outcome of the voting; however, her opponents have united in an attempt to falsify the election, Irakli Batiashvili reports.

During the today's briefing held in Tbilisi, Nino Burjanadze has stated that "the election was held."

"The fact is that the majority of voters have voted for the candidate of the "Georgian Dream" Party, that is, for the candidate nominated by Bidzina Ivanishvili," said the leader of the "Democratic Movement-United Georgia" Party.

Nino Burjanadze has also announced that she agrees to accept the outcome of the election.

However, according to Nino Burjanadze, she believes the election have failed "to comply with the models of democracy."

"Yesterday has showed that at present, instead of co-habilitation, in Georgia, close cooperation of two major power forces has been developed," Nino Burjanadze has stated.
