Relatives of kidnapped entrepreneur Cherkasov hold picket in Karachay-Cherkessia
Today, relatives and friends of the kidnapped entrepreneur and philanthropist Nauruz Cherkasov have held a picket in the central square of the city of Cherkessk. They explained their initiative by their non-indifference to the fate of the kidnapped person.
Let us remind you that the 46-year-old entrepreneur Nauruz Cherkasov was kidnapped on August 31 on the highway Stavropol-Cherkessk. His relatives believe that local bandit formations had to do with the kidnapping.
The picket was about 200 strong; people held posters: "Bring son back to mother!" and "Where is our brother?", the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent reports.
Kemal Cherkasov, Nauruz's uncle, told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent that relatives had a meeting with an official of the republic's Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA), who assured that "the perpetrators would be found; and nobody will go unpunished."
During the picket, relatives of Hassan Khubiev, who is under inquiry, also appeared in the central square with posters demanding to stop applying electric shocks to the detainee.
