Makhachkala resident claims her relatives detained by law enforcers
On October 30, Nargiz Babaeva, a resident of Makhachkala, reported that during the search, law enforcers detained her mother Larisa Babaeva and sister Olesya Babaeva.
Nargiz Babaeva states that the search in the house of her mother Larisa Babaeva was carried out at about 6:00 a.m. of October 30.
"Apart from my mother, my sister Olesya, born in 1981, with her three-year-old child was in the house. About 10 persons broke into the apartment. All of them were not local residents, and my sister explained to me on the phone that law enforcers, who conducted the search, came from Volgograd. Local residents were invited only as witnesses, when a grenade was allegedly found on a dresser. The grenade has been planted by the very law enforcers," Nargiz Babaeva has reported.
According to the woman, after the search, Olesya and Larisa Babaeva were brought to the centre to combat extremism.
Nargiz Babaeva believes the attention of the law enforcers can be caused by the fact that Olesya Babaeva's husband was sentenced for involvement in an illegal armed formation (IAF).
"Well, the main reason is that an explosion occurred in Volgograd, and after that, a counterterrorist operation (CTO) regime was introduced in the city. So, the law enforcers check all residents," Nargiz Babaeva has stated.
