Activists Bakir Suleimanov, Shakhriyar Abbasov, and Tabriz Sabirli were arrested for 15 days, and Abbas Guseinov was arrested for 30 days. This was reported by Elchin Bekhbudov, the leader of the Azerbaijani Committee against Torture.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on October 28, the activists were detained in the Sabunchu District Court of Baku, where the court hearings in the case against theologian Talekh Bagirzade were held.

Bakhtiyar Gadjiev, an advocate of Bakir Suleimanov, has confirmed the information on administrative arrest of the supporters of Talekh Bagirzade.

The advocate has stated that, according to the information that he learned from other believers, Bakir Suleimanov was beaten by policemen.

"However, I have not yet been able to meet him by myself. I plan to visit him next week at the detention facility. If he deems it necessary, we will file an appeal against the arrest," the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent was told by advocate Bakhtiyar Gadjiev.
