Resident of Buynaksk District of Dagestan claims her daughter disappeared after being detained by law enforcers
Starting from October 30, Azha Batyrkhanova, a resident of the Buynaksk District, cannot learn about the whereabouts of her daughter Zariyat Batyrkhanova, born in 1988. According to the woman, during the recent mobile phone conversation, her daughter has told her that she was detained by law enforcers and being brought to Makhachkala.
The mother of the disappeared young woman told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent that Zariyat called her on October 30, at about 7:00 a.m., Moscow time. "Mom, a lot of policemen came to my place, and they take me together with them. They planted a package to my kitchen, and I know nothing about its content," Azha Batyrkhanova quotes the phrases of her daughter as saying prior to the line went dead.
Later, according to the woman, her daughter contacted her from an unknown mobile number and said that "she was being taken to Makhachkala to the CCE (Centre to Combat Extremism)." "After that, I could not get in touch with her. Officials from the CCE told me that she had not been brought there," explained the mother of the missing young woman.
On November 1, Azha Batyrkhanova appealed to the Dagestani regional public organization (DRPO) "Pravozaschita" (Advocacy) to help to reveal the whereabouts of her daughter.
An activist from the DRPO "Pravozaschita" told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent that, according to a source from the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA), Zariyat Batyrkhanova together with Olesya Babaeva were brought to Volgograd within the investigation into the criminal case of the terror act.
