Rights defenders report on possible detention of fourth female native of Dagestan in connection with terror act in Volgograd
Power agents have detained Marzhanat Abdullaeva, a resident of Dagestan, and brought her to Volgograd in connection with the investigation into the terror act that was committed in Volgograd on October 21. This was told to the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent by human rights defenders from the DRPO "Pravozaschita" (Advocacy). The human rights defenders refer to anonymous sources.
According to the human rights activists, they were contacted by Gazimagomed Abdullaev, a resident of Kaspiisk, who asked for their help to reveal the whereabouts of his daughter Marzhanat, was registered in Makhachkala. The father of the young woman said that she was detained in late October, when she spent the night at her relatives' place.
Gazimagomed Abdullaev has said that he was told by a source at the law enforcement agencies that his daughter could be brought to Volgograd on suspicion of involvement in the bombing. The father himself refuses to believe in his daughter's involvement in the bombing. According to him, Marzhanat has a 9-month-old daughter and husband.
Meanwhile, Gazimagomed Abdullaev has confirmed that his daughter was acquainted with the young woman, who, according to the investigators' version, committed a suicide bombing in the bus. "She was acquainted with Naida, and once she posted a message on the Internet that she was looking for an apartment. Naida has read her message and offered her to rent an apartment," the father of the detained young woman has explained.
The "Caucasian Knot" correspondent was told at the human rights organization that, apart from Marzhanat Abdullaeva, three more women Larisa and Olesya Babaeva and Zariyat Batyrkhanova were detained in the case of the terror act in Volgograd. However, their whereabouts are also not actually known.
Let us remind you that as a result of the terror act committed by the suicide bomber in Volgograd, six persons were killed and 55 others were injured.
