Zainudin Madanov becomes fourth judge assassinated in 2013 in Dagestan
Judge Zainudin Madanov, who was shot dead in Makhachkala, became the fourth judge assassinated since the beginning of 2013 in Dagestan, and the fifth in the North-Caucasian Federal District (NCFD). This was calculated by the "Caucasian Knot".
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on Monday, Zainudin Madanov was shot dead by unidentified persons in his car. The basic version of the murder is connected with official activities of the assassinated Judge.
On September 25, in Makhachkala, an armed attack on Mukhtar Shapiev, Judge of the Supreme Court (SC) of Dagestan, and his son was committed. They were wounded and died in hospital. According to investigators' version, the murder was committed because of the official activities the Judge.
On March 9, in Izberbash, near his own house, Federal Judge Akhmed Radjabov was murdered. The investigators associated the murder with the professional activities of Akhmed Radjabov. On May 10, one of the three suspects was shot and killed during a fire fight with power agents.
On January 15, in Makhachkala, Magomed Magomedov, Judge of the Supreme Court (SC) of Dagestan, was murdered. The incident caused a public resonance, since Magomed Magomedov considered resonant cases of terrorism and involvement in illegal armed formations (IAFs). According to the bloggers, the Judge could be murdered as a result of a fight for a place in the Supreme Court.
Besides, in the morning of October 9, in Kabardino-Balkaria, Adam Agakhadjiev, Judge of the Chechnya's Arbitration Court, was found dead. Isa and Khamzat Geroev, natives of Ingushetia, are suspected of killing Adam Agakhadjiev and businessman Isa Ataev, who was together with the judge.
