In Dagestan, Alesiya Babaeva's mother asks for help to find her daughter
Larisa Babaeva, a resident of Dagestan, has appealed to the Human Rights Centre (HRC) "Memorial" and the Dagestani Regional Public Organization (DRPO) "Pravozaschita" (Advocacy) with a request to assist in the search for her daughter Alesiya Babaeva, who was detained by power agents and sent to Volgograd.
According to the DRPO "Pravozaschita", on October 30, power agents detained three residents of Dagestan Marzhanat Abdulaeva, Alesiya Babaeva and Zariyat Batyrkhanova and brought them to Volgograd in connection with the investigation into the terror act that was committed in Volgograd on October 21. Larisa Babaeva declares innocence of her daughter.
Relatives of the detained young women are going to hire advocates for them directly in Volgograd in the nearest future. This was reported by an activist from the DRPO "Pravozaschita". According to the activist, the young women had been detained, since they knew Naida Asiyalova.
Official from the GOVD (City Interior Department) for Volgograd told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent that he knew nothing about the detention of residents of Dagestan.
Meanwhile, Kistaman Gapizova, a resident of Makhachkala, whose apartment located in Airport Highway Street was searched on October 30, claims she still cannot return her passport seized by power agents.
Earlier, it was reported that 21-year-old Dmitry Sokolov, the Naida Asiyalova's husband under Sharia, was put on the wanted list on suspicion of involvement in the terror act. Investigators believe that Naida Asiyalova was plotting the terror act together with Dmitry Sokolov and two other natives of Dagestan – Ruslan Kazanbiev and Kurban Omarov, both 25 years old.
