In Ingushetia, Kantyshevo residents claim local river polluted with sewage waters
The enterprises discharge sewage waters, which were not subjected to biological treatment and disinfection, into the Kambileevka River. This was stated by residents of the village of Kantyshevo, who filed a complaint to the Prosecutor's Office of Ingushetia.
According to the villagers, during the construction of the school in the village of Kantyshevo, developers have committed violations in the process of installation of treatment facilities. The complaint filed to the Prosecutor's Office of Ingushetia has been signed by more than 30 persons.
The "Caucasian Knot" correspondent was told by Isa Bek, a resident of the village of Kantyshevo, the Kambileevka River has been polluted by poultry plant and industrial enterprises of North Ossetia.
The project of construction treatment facilities involved installation of biological filters. This was reported by Aslambek Kharsiev, the director of the State Unitary Enterprise (SUE) "Directorate for implementation of the federal target programme 'Social and economic development of the Republic of Ingushetia in 2010-2016 years'".
The Director of the Unitary Enterprise "Magas-5" has reported that the company faces financial difficulties. According to Aslambek Kharsiev, the leader of Ingushetia has ordered to suspend financing projects of the enterprise till the deficiencies are eliminated.
Let us remind you that during the meeting with Dmitry Medvedev, held in February 2009, Yunus-Bek Evkurov, President of Ingushetia, mentioned poor-quality water in the republic as one of the most acute problems.
