Three residents of Levashin District of Dagestan detained by power agents released
In Dagestan, the three residents of the Levashin District, who disappeared after detention by power agents, are already at home, the Dagestani Regional Public Organization (DRPO) "Pravozaschita" (Advocacy). They had been detained for a check, said the police.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported with reference to the DRPO that on November 3 in the village of Levashi, Levashin District of Dagestan, power agents detained three local residents. According to rights defenders, their names are Zaur Aliev, Arsen Magomedov and Ibragim Gatamov. Then, the ROVD (District Interior Division) said that they had no information about the detainees.
Today, it became known from their relatives that all the three missing Levashi villagers were found and are already at home, a source from the DRPO told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.
All the three men were detained for check of documents and for a talk. "They were not charged with anything and were set free after the check," said the spokesman of the Levashin ROVD.
