17 victims of Volgograd terror act are still in hospitals
As of November 7, 17 residents of Volgograd, who suffered at the recent terror act, continue their in-patient treatment, said the local Ministry of Public Health. The regional investigators report about the course of inquiry and state that they have evidence confirming that the suicide bombing was committed by Naida Asiyalova, and that she had no supporters and accomplices in Volgograd.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on October 21 an explosion was triggered in a bus en route in the Krasnoarmeisky District of Volgograd. According to investigators, Naida Asiyalova, a native of Dagestan, committed a suicide bombing. As a result, 7 persons were killed and 55 more wounded.
According to Mikhail Muzraev, the head of the Investigating Department for the Volgograd Region of the Investigating Committee of the Russian Federation (ICRF), investigators have established – minute by minute – Asiyalova's travel route from Moscow to Volgograd, which is confirmed by numerous CCTV records.
He said that for the last few years Asiyalova had lived in Moscow, regularly making trips to her homeland. She met her civilian husband Dmitry Sokolov about three years ago; they both were fond of radical Islam. Now, investigators have information that Sokolov is in Dagestan.
Muzraev has noted that Sokolov frequented Moscow mosques, where he established contacts with extremist persons.
Now, possible accomplices of the terror act are being searched – the operative and search activities are conducted in Northern Caucasus.
Murzaev has also refuted the version that the terror act could be arranged by Russian secret services, which was posted as a video clip on the Internet.
