Attempt to blow up police car committed in Makhachkala

In Makhachkala, unidentified men attempted to blow up a police UAZ van, and several persons were easily shell-shocked. This was reported by an official from the Dagestani Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA).

The incident occurred at about 8:50 p.m. near the State Milk Plant.

"Policemen were driving along Beibolatov Street in an UAZ car. A bomb detonated on their way. There were three policemen in the car. Of them, one policeman got a minor concussion, and others did not suffer. The windows of the car were shattered," the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent was told by a source at the MIA for Dagestan.

According to other sources, three policemen suffered. They have minor concussions; nobody was seriously injured, the "Interfax" reports.
