Every day, in Chechnya, 60-80 persons appeal to charity offices "Khaira" for help, organizers assert
Every day, the charity offices of mutual aid "Khaira" in Grozny and Urus-Martan, organized by local residents to help the people in need, are being contacted by 60-80 persons. This was reported by Mikail Akhmadov, the leader of the organization.
The organization "Khaira" became known from the social networks from one of the groups on the history of the Chechen people.
The offices were opened in August 2013. The offices accept "practically all assistance." This was stated by Mikail Akhmadov, who got education as a restorer of furniture.
"Two offices accept food, furniture, bedding, and clothing. The basic idea is to protect and help the poor," Mikail Akhmadov told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.
Karina, a resident of the village named after Michurin located near Urus-Martan, has said that an office to collect humanitarian aid is the "only way out" for some villagers.
Activists of the charity organization ask businessmen to provide financial support. According to Mikail Akhmadov, the issue is already of interest for businessmen from Dagestan and Ingushetia.
