Three natives of Northern Caucasus arrested in Saint Petersburg on suspicion of resonant murder of local resident
In Saint Petersburg, three natives from Northern Caucasus, suspected of killing a young man, were arrested. The resonant murder of 25-year-old Stanislav Prokofiev committed on November 4, on the Day of People's Unity, nearly provoked national-hatred-based riots under the scenario of the conflict in the Moscow Biryulyovo.
On November 8, three natives of Dagestan and Kabardino-Balkaria were detained on suspicion of committing the murder in Saint Petersburg. On November 9, the Frunze District Court of Saint Petersburg sanctioned the arrest of two participants to the conflict for two months, and on November 10, a native of Dagestan, who, according to the investigators' information, directly stabbed Stanislav Prokofiev with a knife and whose stabs led to the victim's death, was arrested for the same period. He was detained last, since he tried to flee the region by train. Policemen managed to catch him in the Tver Region, the ITAR-TASS reports.
The investigators do not mention the names of the defendants in the case. However, according to some sources, in Saint Petersburg, on suspicion of committing a crime, Guseinalov and Kairalov were detained, and Uyanaev, who, presumably, according to the investigators, fatally stabbed Stanislav Prokofiev with a knife, was taken off the train.
